Meteors!

Early tomorrow (Wednesday) morning should be the best time for viewing the Orionid meteors. More here. H/t to RG.

    I see that the appropriate weather has started up here: some of the darkest clouds I've seen for a while, and rain driving almost horizontally.

    The way the rain sounds on the roof, I think a hard hat might be a good idea.
