In an old and probably outdated poll, something like 85% of the American population called itself environmentalist. (I'll find a cite). Of course, this can mean anything from not littering to recycling to enjoying natural beauty to fighting for carbon emission reductions or biodiversity conservation to vandalizing SUVs, etc. But these chuckleheads think environmentalists are nazi terrorists. The "us" grows smaller every day.
