BBC News on the radio this afternoon discussed the administration's name::policy rigamarole of the global war or struggle or whatever on terrorism, GWOT, GSAVE, or whatever. BBC Radio referred to the language of "campaign," as in "Global Campaign Against Violent Extremism." Snickers all around in the chambers of the Royal British Society of Acronymizers.
