Fallen ones

"Casualties of the Bush Administration" in Tom Dispatch. The list is long of people fired or demoted (or, rather, purged) for contradicting the party line in the name of reality, truth, and prudence. The carnage! I'm beginning to suspect we've had it wrong all along. It isn't Trotskyism at the heart of the administration, but Stalinism (with a big stupid grin).
