Not seeing and choosing not to see

A lovely little piece by James Schall in the generally conservative The New Pantagruel (but irreverent -- I wish more conservatives were like this [take a look at some of the art work]). I stumbled across their site out of a mutual love of Rabelais.

This one is on the epistemology of seeing/experiencing the world. Basically an argument against subjectivism -- which the philosopher crowd will be accustomed to -- but well worth the read.
