Not Out of the Ordinary?

It's just thirteen guys, right? How long will it be before the International Coal Group-- owners of the Sago mine in West Virginia--start making all the usual noises again about how regulatory agencies are just red-tapey bureaucracies created to make our energy more expensive? It sounds like they can barely contain themselves from making the case now:
According to the [Mine Safety and Health Administration], the Sago mine received 208 citations in 2005, up from 68 in 2004. Sixteen of those were for violations that the mine operators knew about but did not repair before inspectors caught them, the agency said. The company said those numbers were not out of the ordinary.
Bastards.
