Three of the Republicans announced at a press conference today that they would sign H. Res 543, a "discharge petition" being pushed by anti-war groups that would force a debate on the House floor over the objections of House GOP leadership. In order to force the debate, the petition needs 218 members' signatures. One Republican signing on is Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC), who famously helped coin the term "Freedom Fries" after France declined to support U.S. war efforts in Iraq. Since then, he has become a critic of the handling of Iraq and has sought greater discussion of the challenges and strategies for winning in the war.

I don't want to criticize but I feel a little misled by the post title. At the very least you could have contacted Jones' (R-NC) office and asked whether he had second thoughts re: the fry issue.

But that would take work, mt! On a Friday, no less!
You're right, though, about the title. It should have been "Freedom Fries Swimsuit Issue."
I was swayed by the 'work on Friday defense' until I accidentally stumbled above the Fry title and noticed the "thursday, april 06" part. I'll assume the date thing was a typo but (and I really do hate to critize) its kind of sloppy.
I hope your spinning in his grave post includes freaky corpse stuff.
