Opening Day

The day is here, steroids and all. If you're still looking for a team to root for, might I suggest the San Diego Padres? One of the lowest payrolls in the game. A good group of players in a nice pitcher-friendly ballpark. And no one on the team looks like they're on steroids (unless steroids boost the size of your belly). They start the season against San Francisco today. Go Pads.

As long as baseball still exists there is still hope for the planet. When the Giants come to town, it's bye,bye Baby!

You could not go to a street or a park or a beach in Venezuela where there was not a group of kids with a stick and a ball. Little kids, four or five years old, serious as hell.

VZ won the Caribbean tournament this year by beating the Dominican Republic, their arch-nemesis. Nice.
