My current favorite "Univisionism" from their World Cup broadcasts is a play-by-play description from the match between Angola and Portugal:
Saque lateral por el conquistador de Angola.
Rough translation: "throw-in for the conquerors of Angola." Somehow I doubt they'll use the same construction should Spain meet Mexico or Brazil meet Portugal later in the tournament.
Yeah, I was wondering about that too. That's another intersting thing about the World Cup...every once in a while you get those match-ups. Angola was a colony of Portugal until 1975, so I suspect the emotions would be a little more acute than, say, France vs. Vietnam.

Always interesting to watch the colonizer and the colonized play
