I was there about 10 yrs ago-- saw the Marfa lights. They were tiny points of gold, yellow, green and red lights. Some were in the far distance floating, and/or moving vertically and horizontally unlike any aircraft could have. Closer in-- at a distance of about 30 feet from the highway, I saw what looked like two red truck tailights. Suddenly they went like taffy, stretched apart, and then back together again. I also some some on the highway. They were not car headlights-- they did not beam forward the way headlights do. They appeared, moved at high speed, then disappeared. No noise. Extremely strange.

I forgot to warn about trying the local mushrooms!
