I have been reading Kathryn Davis since stumbling across The Girl Who Trod on a Loaf many years ago. It's still one of my favorites, because unlike the others, I actually understand it AND delight in the brilliant language. Hell is hell to read, but I love every sentence. I didn't think The Thin Place hung together quite as well, but I've only read it once.
