I have to ask the obvious, perhaps stupid question: did the tourist mean for shooting, or for mating with?
I'm sure helmut meant him to mean for eating, and what he actually meant was "are they around or they off at their mating grounds/hibernating caves/monkey summer cottages or whatever monkeys re: real estate."
I did notice the tourist sniffing the air for in-heat monkey ass, but I believe she was more interested in simply spotting one.
