In their first public session on the dispute, the seven judges of the Federal Electoral Court left open the possibility that they could order a partial recount. The tribunal has until Sept. 6 to declare a president-elect or annul the elections.For now: we hold our breath and look to the Zocalo. Los de Chiva head to Mexico tomorrow for a week; we'll be in Sinaloa, and I'll be posting if/when possible from there.

No Total Recount for AMLO
In keeping with Flaco's preference, I've linked here to the Houston Chronicle's coverage. Lopez Obrador reportedly walked out the hearing after he was denied a total recount. The possibility for a partial recount remains, and challenges are still likely.
