Aha! By suggesting that the post is not what it depicts, do you not recaption "Not a Mango" "Mango"? I come away with a representational fruit salad, and is there even one real piece of fruit in it? I cannot know. Whereon the USDA speaks, the philosopher can only silently read the label.

The painted mango negates the real mango, and the photo image then negates that negation. Thus, this is not a mango.
Basic mango ontology.
Whoa, I missed a step. You're right, this is a mango!
But then... every other fruit I've posted here is not a fruit.
Sure, retreat to brand loyalty.
I'll just change the headtext on the blog to "Politics, Philosophy, and Not Fruit."
I'm also going to add "Not..." to every photo I've ever uploaded to the blog. Thanks, MT!
