Dithering on whether to put the bad news first or last. Here it is. Israel wants a nuclear deal with the United States like India got. This was the intention of the Bush administration. Israel is either thinking that a distraction from the settlements is necessary or that now that Netanyahu has put Obama in his place, they can go ahead with the plan.
Some good ideas from Bono. I don't agree with all of them, but it's refreshing to see someone thinking ahead in a positive way.
Speaking of refreshing, the Washington Post today has President Obama's back on terrorism. Whoda thunk it?
If you've been reading me regularly, you don't have to read this. But it's nice to see that someone in the media is starting to figure out that 1989 in Eastern Europe was a bit different than the neocons' fantasies.
