Not so much the fruit, but I spend ridiculous amounts of time tracking down the leaves for the Thai restaurant I work with. But you absolutely cannot make Thai curry without kaffir lime leaves.
Aha. I happen to have several kaffir limes photos. But, you may be right about posting this one before. I've had to cycle through some of my fruit photos. Anyone who wants to send me new ones is welcome to.
I remember your comment too, and I think Mark also talked about the leaves at the time as well. We're getting senile.
Well, out of season sometimes canned is the best one can do. Also I there's bound to be something in limes that helps to counter Alzheimer's, so it's all for the best.
Fortunately, I'm on something that counteracts the senility by making me forget how old I am. On rare excessive occasions, I even forget Bush is president for a few moments.h
