Shit. A good and intelligent man, blogger Steve Gilliard, died this morning at the age of 41 after a struggle with ongoing complications from surgery. We extend our deepest sympathies to his partner, Jen, and to his family and friends. Steve fought like hell and his memory is and will be preserved throughout the blogosphere.

Amen. As another SteveG, let me say that he be missed. His intelligence and insight were among the best the blog world has to offer.
