No More Proust

You never actually read it, did you? But you know that we all have memories triggered by various songs, pictures, tastes. So you continue to talk about Proustian memory. Enough! The madeleine was a literary device for Proust - in fact, some three gazillion pages of Proust. That's all. Now, it's a hackneyed device which no longer expresses your urbane literariririrness but, rather your hackneyedity. Enough!
