Relative auto-revisionism

A former colleague, John Zimmerman, sets things straight on the right's penchant for engaging in acts that it decries. In this case, it's historical "revisionism" and that shopworn election-year theme: relativism (and postmodernism!) in academia. Zimmerman points out that you have to engage in revisionism to say that history is not revisionist.
